Monica a the Chief Architect and Co-founder of A1 Real Estate Solutions (A1RE), a Boston-based design and real estate development firm. She serves as leader of a team that provides comprehensive services conveying all aspects of architectural design & build. Monica is also a Design Studio Instructor at Boston Architectural College.
Monica is a Board Member of the English Learner/Bilingual Advisory Council (ELBAC) of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, for the 2021-2024 period. She is the former (and inaugural) Chair of Natick ELPAC (English Learners Parents Advisory Council). In that role, she has collaborated closely with SPARK over the past years. Born in Venezuela, Monica was sworn in as a US citizen in September 2022. She is passionate about inclusion and language equity for all. Monica currently lives in Needham with her husband and four school-aged children.
