Wilmary Tejeda

Director

Wilmary Tejeda has over 10 years in the Non-Profit sector and has an extensive history working with people from varying cultural, linguistic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds, including K-12 and higher education systems. Currently, she serves as the Chief Student Services and Enrollment Officer at METCO Headquarters, the largest voluntary school integration program in the nation, enrolling 3150 Boston urban students in 33 high-performing suburban school districts. Under her leadership, METCO transitioned to an accessible, transparent, and online application portal and supported various high-level policy changes, making it more equitable for parents to apply to the highly sought out program. She works with local nonprofit, civic, community, and grant-making organizations to provide our students with academic, enrichment, social, emotional, college, career, engagement, and leadership opportunities in Boston. She holds a BA in Spanish with a minor in Special Education from Bridgewater State University and a Master's in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from Suffolk University. She was born in the Dominican Republic and is fluent in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language.
